[attr="class","likedotitle2"]THE CULT
[attr="class","likedoinfo"]The Cult was formed by Hawk, a rogue who was exiled at birth from GlacierClan. His mother, Roseheart, was a GlacierClan warrior, while his father was an unknown loner. Not wanting bad blood within his Clan, then-leader Snowstar exiled Roseheart, who in turn raised her kits in the wilds as Clan-haters. Hawk learned from a young age that the Clans were evil, selfish cats who easily eliminated any cats who were not of their blood. When his mother passed, he took to wandering the bogs for several moons, planning his revenge.
In time, Hawk was able to convert several others to his cause, and in turn he formed the Cult. While most of the recruits are largely untrained, measures have been put in place to turn them into fierce fighters. The Cult's main ideals revolve around purging the "sinners", Clan-blood cats, from the world. They believe that any cat with Clan blood is impure and can only do harm to those who do not follow the Warrior Code. The Cult seeks to take over Clan territories and provide homes to those who are less fortunate--loners and rogues.
The Cult usually only initiates cats who have no Clan blood and who vow to be loyal to the cause. Loners and rogues who have differences with the Clans may join, so long as they contribute to the goals of the Cult. The only instance that cats with Clan blood can be accepted is if they have proven they no longer wish to be with their Clan. This is generally done by killing fellow Clan members with a cultist to witness it. Only then may a cat with Clan blood be accepted, though some members of the Cult have been shown to hold grudges against anyone with Clan blood. A cat with Clan blood must also change their name following Cult initiation.
The Cult as a whole does not believe in deities or the afterlife, though this atheist belief is not enforced. Cultists may believe in an afterlife, but generally StarClan is not included in these beliefs due to associations with Clan blood. So long as their religious beliefs do not directly go against Cult values, cultists are allowed to practice whatever they choose.
Kits in the cult will become full-fledged cultists at the age of 6 moons. While their training will not be complete, they should have the basic understandings of hunting and fighting at this age. Any kits who do not learn quick enough will be punished.
